What Happens During a Sofwave Treatment? 

The treatment involves moving the Sofwave handpiece across the skin, delivering ultrasound energy to the deeper layers. To make your treatment more comfortable, you can request Pro-Nox™, which is also known as laughing gas. You’ll feel a warm sensation, but the Sofwave device cools the skin at the same time, and most patients experience minimal discomfort. A treatment typically takes 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the targeted area.

What Is Recovery Like After a Sofwave Treatment?  

Because it’s a nonsurgical procedure, Sofwave requires minimal to no downtime. Most patients resume their normal daily activities after leaving our office. Most patients don’t experience any bruising or skin discoloration after the treatment.   

Can You Combine Sofwave With Other Treatments? 

Sofwave works well as a stand-alone procedure, but we can combine it with anti-wrinkle treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal filler injections.
